West Covina Police Department is a full service police department with 112 sworn officers. The department consists of Patrol, Investigations, and Administrative Divisions, with special assignments including Detectives, K-9’s, Traffic Unit, the Special Enforcement Team, the Graffiti Abatement, and more. It boasts a 3/12 work schedule for patrol and 4/10 for investigations. AR-15 rifles, Less Lethal weapons, and MDC’s are standard in all police units.
